Justin Anderson Motorcycle Towing (“we,” “us”) provides motorcycle towing and transport within a 200-mile radius of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We collect only what we need to pick up your bike, get it where it’s going, and get paid. This policy explains what that is.
What we collect
When you call or text us
Your name, phone number, the location of your bike, where it’s headed, and details about the motorcycle (make, model, condition). If you call after hours, our phone system may record a voicemail.
When we do the job
Pickup and drop-off addresses, service dates, notes about the bike’s condition (including photos we take to document its state before and after transport), and payment information. Card payments are processed by [payment processor — e.g., Square]; we never see or store your full card number.
When you visit our website
Standard analytics data: pages viewed, rough location (city level), device type, and how you found us. We use [Google Analytics / analytics provider] for this. Our site doesn’t have accounts, logins, or forms that require personal information — the phone number is right at the top because that’s how this business works.
What we don’t collect
We don’t buy data about you, track you across other websites, or collect anything beyond what’s listed above.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Dispatch a truck to your location and complete the tow or transport
- Contact you about your service — confirmations, arrival times, delivery updates
- Process payment and keep records for accounting and tax purposes
- Document the condition of your bike to protect both of us
- Understand how people find our website so we can be easier to find
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketers. We won’t add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.
Who we share it with
Only where the job requires it:
- Payment processors — to charge your card
- Insurance companies — if your tow is part of an insurance claim and you’ve asked us to work with your insurer or roadside-assistance program
- Repair shops or storage facilities — the destination gets your name and contact info so they know whose bike is arriving
- Legal requirements — if a court order, subpoena, or law enforcement request compels us to
That’s the whole list.
Text messages
If you text us or ask for updates by text, we’ll text you back about your service. These are transactional messages about your tow — not marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP any time to opt out.
How long we keep it
Service records, invoices, and condition photos are kept for [X years — typically 3–7] for accounting, tax, and liability purposes, then deleted. Voicemails and routine texts are deleted once the job is closed out. Analytics data is retained per our provider’s default settings.
How we protect it
Records are stored in password-protected systems with access limited to the people who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep our footprint small — the less we collect, the less there is to protect.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what information we have about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your information, where we’re not legally required to keep it (invoices, for example, have to stay for tax records)
Call or email us and we’ll take care of it. Washington residents: if you’re contacting us from the Spokane side of our service area, you may have additional rights under Washington state law — the same phone call handles those too.
Children
Our services and website are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes get a notice on the homepage.
